Trinity Escapes - Mise-en-scene.

The setting is a dark, mysterious hotel in the middle of the night. Could
be because hotels could be considered a safe, private area and people wouldn't
rise to suspicions.

Men in suits with sunglasses - indicates they are very
important and powerful people - not the type of people you can mess with.

Woman as well as the men are all wearing the colour black
which symbolises darkness, evil, power, authority and solemnity.

Once she escapes and rolls down the stairs, Trinity's hands
are shaking as she points the guns up which shows she is frightened despite her
being so strong and (seemingly) fearless.

Guns in the film represent danger, power and death.

The camera shots, angles and effects emphasise Trinity's
superhuman abilities. For example the slow-motion when she jumps and kicks the
men to the ground without difficulty as well as the camera angles where she is
jumping from building to building which shows the gap between them.
