Updated Storyboard

We have chosen to write out the updated storyboard without the boxes and the drawings as we needed quite a lot of space to be able to describe in detail what we have changed.

- For this scene we will have a shot of the character Ash as she is sleeping - the camera will be moving over the bed that she is laying in so that we can see the way she is sleeping, which will be quite messy and all over the place. We'll then cut to a clip of the character Elizabeth sleeping, and the camera will not move. She'll be sleeping peacefully and be looking quite neat even in her sleep as this is the type of person she is.

- Here we will have a clip of Ash snoring. We want to do this because we want to subtly show that she can be a very loud person when she wants to be, so the reason she is snoring is because when somebody's snoring they are being quite loud in doing so. Afterwards we'll cut to a clip of Elizabeth waking up without an alarm, looking happy. The reason we want her to wake up without an alarm is so that we can show that she is an organised person and doesn't need an alarm to wake up.

- In this scene we will have a clip of Ash rubbing her eyes as most people do, but unlike Elizabeth she won't look happy, she'll be quite miserable suggesting that she isn't normally up at that time, implying she is lazy.

- Here we'll have a clip of Elizabeth waking up and turning the lights on with a little remote to show how rich she is to be able to do that. This is where we will start our music - "She's So Lovely" by Scouting For Girls. This will then cut to a clip of Ash hurrying towards the door and exiting it. This will show match on action.

- A clip of Elizabeth looking at herself in the mirror to suggest that she cares a lot about her appearance. We will then add a clip of her rummaging through her clothes which again suggests that she would like to look good for wherever she is going, and then we will cut to a shot of her scooping some clothes up from the drawer.

- This will be a compilation of quick-cuts to show the desperation and panic as Ash is trying to get ready because she is clearly worrying about being late. We'll make it so that she is blowing her nose which comes across as quite disgusting and she'll be trying to brush her hair however she won't be brushing it all completely and neatly because we want her to look as messy as possible.

- We'll have a shot of Elizabeth applying some lipstick here. This shot will be quite long which will imply that she is not in a hurry because she knows she won't be late to work and can take her time. We will then cut to a shot of Ash stuffing her hand in a packet of cornflakes to again show that she is out of time and cannot sit down and have breakfast properly like any other person, but she is also quite childlike in the way that the first thing she goes for is cereal. Then there'll be a shot of Elizabeth smirking suggesting that she's quite arrogant and is enjoying the way she looks a lot. Finally for this scene we'll have Ash eating the cornflakes.

- The first shot of this scene will be of Elizabeth opening the curtains and letting light in, after which we will add a compilation of shots of her pouring wine and then drinking it. This will suggest that she is quite mature because she is drinking wine which is different from Ash in the previous scene.

- Here we'll include a shot of Ash leaving her house, which will be an apartment to show that she is lower class than Elizabeth and can't afford to live in a really nice house. After this we'll cut to a shot of Elizabeth; the camera will be moving up so that you can see her entire outfit, and then we will have another match on action shot as she opens the door and then steps out and closes it, and then a close up of her locking it. This will show that she lives in a very lovely house and it is a house obviously unlike Ash who lives in an apartment, so that can hint towards her class status.

- We will add a clip of Elizabeth stepping out of her car and walking off as she locks it.

- Here we'll have another small compilation of shots of Elizabeth where she is walking and stopping to send a text. The close up of the text will suggest that she is in fact going to work however she is the boss and doesn't have to come in until later, or simply doesn't care if she is late. We'll then cut to a shot of her biting into an apple because the audience is not supposed to like Elizabeth as a character yet and so this shot will look quite disgusting and they'll dislike her even more.

- We'll add a shot of Elizabeth walking down the road here still on her phone and walking quicker than before in order to show that she is perhaps needed at work and is in a hurry and it also makes it seem like she is a very busy person as she is always on her phone. Then we'll cut to a scene of Ash preparing to go down a small hill. Then we will cut to a scene of Elizabeth walking by a brick wall. This will already start to look more like the area that Ash is in, so this will hint to the audience what may happen.

- Here we will have quite a few quick shots. First Ash will be walking down the hill and then we see from behind the corner a shot of Elizabeth coming up closer, and then another shot of Ash nearly tripping and falling because the small hill is so steep. We'll edit it this way because it'll help the audience even more in their understanding of what will happen and it'll be a highly anticipated moment in the opening credits.

- Finally we will have the shot of the two women colliding, or rather Ash running down the hill as it is so steep and accidentally knocking Elizabeth's bag out of her hand. We will do this because we thought actually bumping into each other could seriously injure our cast, so we will just have her knock the bag flying because this way it also shows that Elizabeth is a person that overreacts about everything when is is not necessarily a big deal.
